🔋 Project Overview — GEGHA (Good Earth Green Hydrogen & Ammonia):

☀️ 36 MW Solar (9 MW existing + 27 MW new)

🔋 41 MWh Battery

⚡ 15 MW Electrolysis capacity

🔌 Small grid connection for backup

💧 Renewable electricity + local water = Green Hydrogen

NSW’s First Green Hydrogen & Ammonia Plant Breaks Ground in October!

🏗️ Construction Start: October 2025

🎯 Operational Target: Early 2027

🌱 Output Goals:

💨 4,500 tonnes/year of low-carbon ammonia

🚜 224 tonnes/year of green hydrogen

🌏 17,000 tonnes CO₂-equivalent avoided per year

🏭 On-site storage: 600 tonnes ammonia + 3 tonnes hydrogen

🧪 Use Cases:

🌾 Green fertiliser for Good Earth Cotton (net-zero, traceable fibre)

🛻 Green hydrogen for Hiringa’s truck refuelling network & on-farm irrigation (diesel replacement)

🚚 Excess ammonia available to other farmers

📌 Why It Matters:

✅ Breaks dependency on fossil-fuel-based fertilisers

✅ Reduces import reliance, adds price stability

✅ First-of-its-kind green fertiliser supply on Australia’s East Coast

✅ Anchors demand & supply within local agriculture

🗣️ Quote:

🧑‍🌾 “We’ve been measuring our emissions for 5+ years. This lets us control our footprint better.” — David Statham, Sundown Pastoral Co
