The 300MW Stanwell Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project has hit a major milestone with the arrival of two high-voltage transformers at Stanwell Power Station. These 118-ton giants traveled 2,000km from Melbourne under police escort, signaling strong progress in the construction timeline.
Project Advancing on Schedule
🔹 On-Site Progress – Ongoing earthworks, drainage, and foundation pouring led by Yurika and local contractors.🔹 Next Steps – The first of 324 Tesla Megapacks will arrive in mid-2025.🔹 Operational Target – Full operation expected by May 2027.
