The Final Balance of Works
The Balance of Works tender encompasses:
Onshore civil and installation works.
Construction of converter station buildings.
Land cable civil works.
This step follows the 2024 completion of tenders for submarine and land cables and converter station technology.
The Shortlisted Consortiums
TasVic Greenlink: A joint venture between DT Infrastructure Pty Ltd and Samsung C&T Corporation.
Empower: A joint venture between CPB Contractors Pty Limited and UGL Pty Limited.
Timeline
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2026.
Stage One is set to be completed by 2030.
