A Green Energy Milestone for Broken Hill
The New South Wales Government has approved Hydrostor’s Silver City Energy Storage Centre, a $638 million compressed air energy storage project at an old mine site in Broken Hill.

200MW/1600MWh capacity, powering 80,000 homes
Zero greenhouse gas emissions
250MWh reserve to prevent local blackouts
400 construction jobs & 26 permanent roles
How It Works:
